NEW YORK DIARIES!

Hey my wonderful people! :)

I thought I could write this blogpost in English, since I said I'm going to switch it up sometimes. :)
I hope you had an amazing start into the new year aaaaand everyone's doing well and working on their new year's resolutions! :) I just got back from New York a couple of days ago and wanted to tell you a little bit about what I did there and why I was there. I have a whole month of winterbreak and I didn't want to just sit around at my aunt's house for a whole month, so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to fly over to the Big Apple and visit my other aunt. She, my uncle and my babycousin Celine live at the beach in a cute little beach house and I really loved taking nice walks on the beach or around their town. They live on Long Island which is a half-an-hour train ride away from the city. :)
I had an amazing trip and even survived my first flight ever on my own! ;D
Buuut I guess I should start the 'real' blogpost now and show you a few pictures!
Have fun!
Love you,
Seli :*

This is a picture of my first time flying 'alone'! I was amazed how smooth and easy everything went: I got there in time and even had a nice seat at the EXIT, which had a lot more room than the normal airplane seats. On top of that, I also only had hand luggage, so I didn't have to worry about carrying around a huge suitcase and picking it up somewhere! My flight essentials: Magazine, iPod and Skittles. :)

This is my little babycousin Celine and my aunt Theresa. On our first night we went out to do some shopping in Huntington and get some dinner at a nice Greek restaurant. :)

My uncle and I went to see a major college basketball game: University of Hofstra, NY - Georgia State University, Atlanta. I think it's amazing how professionally college sports are treated here! :)

 Times Square. Of course. :)

 Me in Times Square. :)

My aunt and I waiting in line for some Broadway tickets! We got an amazing deal on some tickets to see the Musical 'The Phantom of the Opera', I still can't believe we got first row orchestra tickets for only $70 each, when they're normally $150-$185 each!! :)

This was at a beautiful restaurant called 'Carmines' in NYC where we got some dinner before the musical started! :)

'Phantom of the Opera' on Broadway. It was incredible! Too bad, I wasn't aloud to take pictures during the performance!

This is the beach I talked about! My aunt's house is 10 steps away from it. :)

I really want to come here in the summertime! :)

Just two pictures I took at the beach. :) It was freezing but beautiful!

Yep, this was my New York trip! :) We also went out for a spa day once! I really really loved my time in New York and I'm so glad everything worked out so well! My aunt, uncle and cousin flew back to Madison with me, because we're having a big Statz party tomorrow and a big birthday party today! :)

I can't believe I'm able to have such an amazing time in my life right now!
The last few months were one of the best months of my life and I'm really excited for the next ones to come!
Thank you for staying in touch with me even when I'm not replying right away. I'm really really looking forward to seeing you all in May/June! :)

Byeeeeee! <333
